From Mountain to Canyon, 6/15 &16/12

This part of my vacation, included starting off in Las Vegas, Nevada; then to Zion National Park in Springdale, Utah. The next day, we headed to the Grand Canyon North Rim, Arizona

 Las Vegas...

Along the way to Zion National Park...

Voila: The Grand Canyon.

This was just a glimpse of the Grand Canyon. It is huge!!!  We did not even go to the South Rim.

Going to Page, Arizona, we stopped on the pedestrian bridge at Marble Canyon overlooking the Colorado River.
While there, a Navajo and his son asked if we would like to buy jewelry made by wife and daughter.  I was very happy with their pieces. Notice the necklace?

Thanks everyone. Sookie, I noticed that there were not many clouds - just heat. Wow, EV - thanks for your Peter Lik compliment. SW - that was a squirrel. We were laughing when we saw that collection of shoes.
