Celebrating Another Candle, 8/22/14

Did I share with you that I go to the gym for 5:30 a.m. classes?  I have been doing this since 2001 however I confess that the last 3 years, I have not been as consistent however my friends have and we continue our friendship. (On a good week, I am there Tues. Wed. and Thurs. - sorry, feeling guilty)

Ruth suggested Cafe Julia.

This YWCA is also known as the Richard Street YWCA.

My first Bananas Foster was ono (delicious)!!! Margaret was laughing as I scraped this goblet clean.

When I got home, I decided to do a selfie (wish I had longer arms) cuz I wanted to show off my leis which were given to me from my co-workers.  I was so happy to get not just one Tahitian Ginger lei, I got two! There are different ways to string ginger flowers - this as I mentioned is Tahitian Ginger.

I embrace my new year!!!
