Aiea Loop Trail, 2/5/17

Here we go Larry, 4.8 miles.

So much beauty!!!

What the H3 freeway! I was stoked! Thanks Larry for detouring.

The most difficult part was trudging back to the car. We had no idea that I had parked where now we had to hike up a steep road. I just kept thinking I am now this much closer to going to Aiea Bowl that has "lemon crunch cake". Thanks again Larry for being patient with me going at my pace.

4.8 miles! That's 4 miles too many for me. Nice pictures - that bench looked like it was a reward. Did you get your lemon crunch cake? Good thing you didn't go today - it poured and poured and eroded parts of my newly planted grass.

Thanks Honolulu Aunty and we certainly were fortunate for good weather. The next day it was raining and yes the past Saturday, Feb. 11 was crazy rain. I actually did not sit on the bench, I was afraid I would not want to continue after resting. I did get my lemon crunch cake!!!

Main thing we were never on the edge, that kind of hike is crazy. Yay, save you from going. I think hikes means use camera phones for your photos. We both had our Canon and our 24-105.
