Byodo-in Temple, 6/19/10

Located in the Valley of the Temples, this temple "is a scale replica of a temple in Uji, Japan, that was constructed over 950 years ago.





Visitors are allowed to pull back this rod and let it hit this bell.
Erick, thanks for showing me your shot of this bell - this was quite a challenge to get this angle - I had to go really low and use Live View to get this shot.
As you can see, it is so serene here.

I like the angles you took from the bridge to the temple. Your inside of the bell came out cool. So, were these all HDR shots? Very natural tones.

Very observant, none of these are HDRs. I also like that shot - I think I will edit this post and use it as my first picture.
