With permission, I am sharing a beautiful day at the Elks' Kumulokahi Canoe Club to bid farewell to my Aunty. She was the youngest of my dad's eight siblings. She was also 102 years old. I will always remember her artistic talent and wittiness to name a few. Along with my photos and clips, Suanne and Dianne made this video possible.

Blue Angels - Spectacular, 9/27/14
Milton S, Derek and Stephen and I enjoyed the challenge of photographing this air show.
Before it began, we noticed this beautiful low rainbow gracing the mountains.
The Blue Angels have 6 planes. Four of them are usually together.
I think Number 6 also does special maneuvers.

Celebrating Another Candle, 8/22/14
Did I share with you that I go to the gym for 5:30 a.m. classes? I have been doing this since 2001 however I confess that the last 3 years, I have not been as consistent however my friends have and we continue our friendship. (On a good week, I am there Tues. Wed. and Thurs. - sorry, feeling guilty)
Ruth suggested Cafe Julia.
This YWCA is also known as the Richard Street YWCA.
Margaret, Ruth, me, Dee Dee, Donna (I luv the orchid, rose leis!).
Dessert: drum roll...Bananas Foster...Thanks again Ruth for suggesting Cafe Julia - dinner and dessert was enjoyed by all.
When I got home, I decided to do a selfie (wish I had longer arms) cuz I wanted to show off my leis which were given to me from my co-workers. I was so happy to get not just one Tahitian Ginger lei, I got two! There are different ways to string ginger flowers - this as I mentioned is Tahitian Ginger.
I embrace my new year!!!

Hilton Hawaiian Village, 8/2/14
Where did the time go? I think the last time I photographed with Milton S. and Derek was at Foster Botanical Garden, 2/18/14. Oh boy! My fault.
Although, I enjoy coming to Hilton Hawaiian Village, there were less things to photograph. No penguins, flamingoes and few water lilies. The ducks have had a field day with the water lilies.
I wish I could be as focused as the Night Heron.
Now I am looking for things to photograph. LOL
One of my favs - the water wheel.I had to look up what kind of turtle this is. It is an Eastern Spiny Softshell turtle "Trionyx Spiniferus"

Point Panic/Kewalos, 7/30/14
Although the waves were not very high, it was fun trying my hand again at surf photos.
Too early to leave...
Perhaps it was @ 7:30pm. Nice ending.
Sensei Gary Miyata, that was cool!!! (I took this photo level but decided to tilt it when I edited it.)
